The Hotel Bougainvillea is an oasis
of peace and tranquility.
One of the few independent hotels left in the Central Valley in Costa Rica, this well-located place overflows with personality. Ten acres of botanical gardens, art, rocks and minerals, a restaurant very much liked by locals as well as visitors, swimming pool, tennis courts, and most importantly, the people who work with us, all conspire to make the hotel a destination rather than just a stop-over.

Esta linda muchacha de solo quince aรฑos tambiรฉn abordรณ un aviรณn en el aรฑo 1961, pero de Aruba a Costa Rica, y durรณ tres dรญas para llegar. Pero no fue por la distancia, fue porque habรญa un โtemporalโ encima de Costa Rica y el aviรณn no podรญa aterrizar. Casualmente tambiรฉn ella migrรณ a nuestro paรญs, sin saber que unos aรฑos despuรฉs se estarรญa casando con un holandรฉs! This pretty girl, only 15 years of age, also boarded an airplane in 1961, but to travel from her native Aruba to Costa Rica. Due to a storm over Costa Rica, her trip was three days long. It was quite a coincidence that she also decided to migrate to Costa Rica, little did she know that 4 years later sheโd be marrying a Dutch man!
